A groundbreaking new cold storage and logistics facility in Theale, Berkshire, has taken home the coveted Best Commercial Project award at this year’s BerksProp Awards.
Developed by CubeCold and Pulleyn Transport Limited, the scheme stood out for its innovative stilt-elevated structure that preserves natural drainage, highly efficient refrigeration and renewable energy systems, and extensive landscaping designed to boost local biodiversity.
The judges praised the project as a perfect example of sustainable commercial development that balances operational excellence with genuine environmental responsibility.
