Project Summary

TanRo has officially kicked off the remediation and earthworks contract at the historic 31-acre Harrier Park site in Hucknall—once home to the development of the legendary Harrier Jump Jet.

  • Remediating contaminated ground and groundwater
  • Removing legacy services
  • Excavating and reengineering approx. 150,000m³ of made ground

The project started in August and will last for 32 weeks, culminating in the creation of six development plateaus. This phase includes the installation of roads, retaining walls, and S278 bell mouths.

This marks a significant milestone in transforming a site with a rich aviation history into a modern, multi-use development hub. Exciting times are ahead—stay tuned for more updates!
